Canada Stamp #1165 - Houses of Parliament (1988) 38¢
Slater Paper
SKU: CAN-1165
Mint - Never Hinged - Block of Four - Misperforated
(M-NH-006)
Very impressive block of the multicoloured 38¢ Parliament definitive on Slater paper from 1988 with a downward perforation shift of 4 mm, which is splitting in half the "38" facial value and "Canada" inscription on top inside the upper perforations!
The upper design of the adjacent stamp is also visible inside the lower margin as a result of the shift! This is a very nice example of a major printing error that results in a stamp that could hardly be used for postage (if at all), a very eye-catching collectible indeed!!!
