Canada Stamp Booklet - #BK88b Parliament Buildings (1985) 3 x 2¢, 2 x 5¢, 1 x 34¢
Booklet of 6 stamps (#947ai in cover), Rolland paper
SKU: CAN-BK088B
Mint - Very Fine Never Hinged - Set of 10 Covers with TAGGING SHIFT
(M-VFNH-001)
A superb collection of the 10 possible covers (complete set) of the 1985 Parliament definitives booklet (#947ai in booklet #BK88b, Rolland paper) where all of the panes are showing a DRASTIC 8 MM RIGHTWARD TAGGING SHIFT ERROR!
It is normal that only the highest 34¢ value is GT4 tagged on this sheet, however this rightward shift (literally by one third on this 24 mm stamp) is truly remarkable and it results in a huge portion of tagging on the 2¢ stamp (#939)!
As a reference a single untagged booklet (#BK88T1) on this issue is evaluated at $175 in the catalogue and while this booklet is not truly untagged, it is nevertheless a similar variety!
A single example of these booklets with such a drastic error would already be a very rare item, but a complete set of all the possible covers is nothing less than a showpiece collectible!!!
