Albania - Stamp Packet

Albania is in South Eastern Europe and has a coast on the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea. Its modern history has been marked by many invasions, from the Ottoman Turks to Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, and Fascist Italy. Communism came after the Second World War, but today Albania is a member of NATO. Stamps have been issued prolifically, and especially to raise money for the country. They are inscribed with the native spelling of the country name: Shqiperise/Shqipëria.
