Canada Stamp #1407aii-av - Canada 92 (1992) 2 x 42¢, 1 x 48¢, 1 x 84¢

After more than 30 years, it was finally discovered that the stamps coming from the Canada 92 souvenir sheets are different from the ones coming from the panes of 25! This is because the regular stamps are on Harrison paper, but the souvenir sheet ones are on Coated paper! Both papers have a blue-green gum colour, but the Coated gum is significantly brighter and smoother (less curly), so they are easily distinguishable! These four new stamps (#1407aii, #1407aiii, #1407aiv & #1407av) are also scarcer, as the souvenir sheet was issued in far fewer quantity than the panes! This discovery was incorporated in the 2023 Unitrade catalogue.
