Description
On March 5, 1929 a group of stamp collectors founded the Société philatélique de Québec and adopted the distinctive logo of the first postmark used in the City of Québec in 1775. The first French-language philatelic society in North America, this organization now has more than a hundred active members who have a sustained interest in the capital of the Province of Quebec. To celebrate its 75th anniversary, the Société philatélique de Québec is publishing a monograph on the mail carried by the mobile post offices of the Grand Trunk Company from 1860 to 1880.
